Welcome Ms. Deanna Byrd, Our New PreK Teacher!

Let's give a warm McBride welcome to Ms. Deanna Byrd, our new PreK teacher! Ms. Byrd brings a wealth of experience and a passion for early childhood education to our school community.

Ms. Byrd is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Texas and Germany. She is the mother of four adult children, all of whom were raised in the military community overseas. Her husband, Sammie L. Byrd Jr., is the Budget Analyst at the DODEA Americas Region Office in Peachtree City, GA.

Ms. Byrd obtained both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University. She is strongly considering pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership. With seven years of teaching experience in Georgia public schools, including five years as the lead teacher in the Georgia Pre-Kindergarten Program, Ms. Byrd is well-equipped to inspire and educate our youngest learners.

She believes that learning should be engaging and fun, and she strives to bring these ideals into her classroom every day. We are excited to have Ms. Byrd join our team and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our students.
