McBride Celebrates STEM Week
Our school was absolutely buzzing with excitement during this year’s STEM Week and what a bug-tastic success it was! With insects as our theme, students across all grade levels dove into hands-on learning, creativity, and discovery.
“Read Across America” week was a SLAM DUNK!
Students enjoyed listening to books and taking a vote for their favorite as they watched them move through the brackets. In addition to our buddy readers, we had guest readers come in and share their favorite books with a read aloud. We can’t forget our “Books and Beyond Bash”; an evening where families were able to participate in literacy-based activities that make learning to read fun. The week closed out with a “Vocabulary Character Parade”, showcasing our fabulous McBride students!
